  1. Hi Lars

    Thanks for your answer.
That is exactly the answer I gave my client but he says that this is common practice within their production hall to do this !! I was not sure if there was another way within the UR..

    Kind Regards

  2. Good morning
I have a client with a UR10-CB3 and they are using a remote button to power up and initialize the robot, they would like to be able to power up & re-initialize the robot from the remote button after an e-stop is activated, is there a way of doing this.??

    1. Hi Darren

      Thanks for your question.

It is not advisable to do that because there must be a reason the emergency stop and the normal practice is that such estop must be locally reset because if it is reset at a distance the emergency might still be there and then it would be a risk to reset without the local presence.

In a normal system an emergency stop should not occur very often and if does – it might mean a need for redesign or education of use of emergency stop buttons.
