It occur that the Forum receive questions about the error messages “Protective Stop C207A0: Fieldbus input disconnected” like shown on the picture below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There can be a genuine reason for this messages if the “Ethernet\/IP Field Bus” is actively being used in a robot application. And then the error might be communication issues between the robot and the Fieldbus device (Sometimes a PLC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However it can also just be that the “Ethernet\/IP” has been inadvertently activated without intention to use this protocol for communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “Ethernet\/IP” protocol can be toggled On\/Off in the menu “Ethernet\/IP” under “Installation” tab. Below it is shown activated (because the “Disable” button is available and therefore possible to deactivate it).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By pressing the “Disable” button the Ethernet\/IP will be deactivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now the program can run without this error messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
